Good weather. Wasted without somewhere proper to sit.
We've been laying patios across Leamington Spa and the surrounding Warwickshire postcodes long enough to know that when the sun finally shows up, you want to be outside on something solid, not staring at a cracked slab from the back door.
A lot of customers come to us wanting the classic York-stone look. Thick, characterful, warm underfoot. We get it. But those older flagstones chip, stain and absorb moisture badly through a Warwickshire winter. Vitrified porcelain is a different animal altogether. Virtually zero porosity, colour-fast, and far easier to keep clean. It looks sharp for years.
We've worked with flame-textured granite anti-slip finish on several jobs near the Fosse Way crossroads, where gardens slope and standard smooth flags would be genuinely dangerous in wet weather. That texture makes a real difference. We always spec the right surface for the conditions, not just what looks good in the brochure.
We're not the cheapest outfit in the area (I'll be honest about that). However, we do the groundwork properly, the drainage right, and the pointing to last. Corners cut on sub-base preparation always show up eventually, usually at the worst time.
Short sentences work here. Solid prep matters. Every time. No shortcuts.
We cover Leamington Spa and the wider CV postcode area. Call us on 01926 244158 to talk through what you've got in mind. Or have a look at our recent work and Head over to Leamington Spa Patios.
Crack on.
