A good summer deserves a decent outdoor space

When the sun finally shows up, you want to be outside. Not staring at cracked slabs or a scrubby patch of mud. That is exactly why a properly laid patio makes such a difference in this part of the world.

We work across Nuneaton and the surrounding area. A lot of the gardens we see sit behind Warwickshire red brick terraces and 1990s Barratt-style estate houses, compact plots with real potential once you get the surface right.

We keep the material choices honest. Porcelain is low maintenance and handles frost well. Sandstone sits naturally in older Nuneaton gardens (it just looks right against aged brick). Calibrated stone makes bedding far more consistent than random thickness flags.

How a typical installation week runs

1. Excavation. We dig out to the correct depth for your sub-base and slab thickness.
2. Sub-base. Compacted MOT Type 1 hardcore goes in. Skipping this step is where cheap jobs fail.
3. Bedding. Sharp sand and cement mix, laid to falls for drainage.
4. Laying. Slabs or tiles go down to line and level.
5. Jointing. Grout or kiln-dried sand brushed in, depending on the material.
6. Cleaning. Slurry off, surface wiped down, job inspected.

Honest work, straight price

No day-rate surprises. We quote the job, we do the job. It is that simple. However, if ground conditions throw something up during excavation, we will tell you before touching anything extra. You will not find out on invoice day.

Fencing and walling we handle ourselves. We do not sub that out. Same crew, same standards throughout.
